POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician II performs overall maintenance tasks to retain excellent condition and functionality of Urban Housing Solutions’ premises. Duties include but are not limited to trouble shooting complex maintenance problems, HVAC maintenance and install, carpentry, plumbing, appliance repair and install, installing residential equipment, and repairing structures, flooring, and stairs. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation. Demonstrate consistency in successfully completing assigned work orders in a timely manner to better serve our residents by increasing their confidence and trust in our commitment to them Diagnose and repair complex problems with HVAC, appliances, plumbing, and electrical Repair items such as equipment or structures, using various personal hand tools (i.e., hammers, saws, drills, wrenches, hoists) to perform general maintenance tasks. Complete grounds keeping responsibilities including but not limited to cleaning the property and trash pickup to ensure the curb appeal of all Urban Housing Solutions properties Adhere to preventive maintenance procedures and schedules as recommended to guarantee the highest standards established by UHS for all properties and residents therein Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies at designated properties ensuring that any upkeep and repairs can be readily addressed as encountered Collaborate with the Property Manager and other designated staff to conduct quarterly unit inspections, ensuring appropriate living conditions are adhered to for all residents Foster a successoriented, accountable, collaborative, and ethical environment by complying with all UHS policies and procedures as outlined in the UHS Operations Manual and attending staff meetings as directed.
