The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and the ability to work with various tools and technologies. Duties Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair issues with hydraulic systems, logic controllers, and other mechanical components. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and manage work orders. Fabricate parts as needed to support repairs or modifications. Read and interpret schematics to understand equipment layouts and operational functions. Operate scissor lifts safely for maintenance tasks at elevated heights. Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate. Collaborate with other team members to improve maintenance processes and enhance overall efficiency. Experience Proven experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with stick welding processes is a plus. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. Experience using CMMS for tracking maintenance tasks is highly desirable. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to safety standards are essential. Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
