Industrial Maintenance Technician 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Morristown, TN 37814 Our company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Tech to join our growing team. This position will perform electrical or mechanical maintenance work and repair work on all plant equipment and machinery. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Performs mechanical and hydraulic maintenance and repair work to equipment and machinery throughout the plant as required. Repairs, replaces, aligns, adjusts, and installs parts of plant equipment and machinery. Read effectively mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings. Operates equipment and makes adjustments to ensure proper operating conditions prior to turning over to operating personnel. Determines material needs and is responsible for getting material to job and for getting necessary parts ordered or made. Performs electromechanical and electrical repairs as well. Transports material, parts, and supplies to assigned work areas using a forklift truck/cart or other means of transporting. Keep necessary maintenance records.
