Assembly Line Maintenance Tech Seneca Resources – 4.0 Chattanooga, TN Job Details Contract $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Mid-level Full Job Description Scope of Services The scope of the Torque Auditor will be to manage torque inspections in an automotive manufacturing environment to meet and exceed company goals and objectives. The role and responsibilities are comprised of the following, including but not limited to: Onsite Support Direct Support for Torque Tool Confirmation Support torque tool Installation, Commissioning, Handover, Release to Production Identifying and performing torque audits during production in such a way that limits interference with other production processes that are following normal standard work Post Release Stand-by support Understand and follow Change Management protocols and Documentation Follow and participate in updating audit standards and boundary limits Take threaded fastener joint torque audit data from vehicles during commissioning of new tools and regular monitoring of existing tools Coordinate activities with the maintenance and production team to minimize production delays due to equipment issues Identify and immediately report on any torque issues discovered while auditing, which generally requires additional data to confirm an issue Identify requirements for vehicle structure to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost in all departments within the automotive facility Monitor safety, quality, cost, and productivity, with improvement activities for assigned areas of production Provide direction and assistance to analyze production issues, propose countermeasures, and resolve issues Collaborate with other production departments, quality, pilot hall, R D, production control, maintenance, and engineering to provide best in class product quality Support training plans to improve overall organizational capability production departments Provide technical support and guidance to other team members using appropriate standards Attend and participate in regular plant and group meetings and activities Understand production schedules and track specific feature variations to complete a Torque Audit Follow all applicable safety procedures and policies Keep work area clean through participation in 5S activities Always observe and adhere to safety policies and procedures Maintain good attendance Perform other duties as assigned
