Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Lead for our 1st shift Changeover Crew. You will work 10-hour shifts, typically from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with 5 to 6-day workweeks. As a Maintenance Lead, you will oversee the safe and efficient production of products by troubleshooting and repairing equipment failures, performing preventative maintenance procedures, and training team members on technical processes. Responsibilities Support the production team as the mechanical expert Ensure production and support equipment are functioning properly Perform preventative maintenance procedures Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions Make repairs or adjustments to equipment as needed Perform basic electrical duties such as replacing motors, switches, and photoelectric sensors Perform package changeovers on production lines as required Support the team on all aspects of the operation Train team members on mechanical processes Focus on continuous improvement Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standards Essential Skills Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and motors Leadership experience, even at a lead level Knowledge of gearboxes, high-speed machinery, and pumps Familiarity with pneumatic systems Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics Understanding of robotics, sensors, and wiring Ability to work with 480-volt systems and variable frequency drives Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous leadership experience Ability to relocate to other facilities in the Southeast Why Work Here? The work environment can be cool, hot, and humid. Job Type & Location This is a 2-month contract with great potential to get hired in permanently. Located in Chattanooga, TN.

$29.13/hr
Schedule:
Thursday-Tuesday Weekly hours: 60 Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.33 – $29.33/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
