Shift Maintenance Technician Location:

Chattanooga, TN Pay:

$23.08 – $30.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Shift:

2nd Shift | Full-Time We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at a leading automotive manufacturing facility in Chattanooga. If you are passionate about equipment performance, continuous improvement, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

Monitor and adjust manufacturing equipment and controls to ensure optimal performance Provide engineering support to assigned production lines Troubleshoot and adjust PLCs to resolve production issues Drive continuous improvement activities to increase production efficiency Collaborate with Quality, CI, and Engineering teams to develop Poka-Yoke systems, Control Plans, and Process Plans Assist in the development of operator instructions and training materials Create, maintain, and implement manufacturing documentation Support plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives Administer and support the Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) fleet

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in an automotive manufacturing environment Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance or manufacturing engineering

Skills & Competencies:

Strong electrical maintenance background in a production setting Proficient with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming (Allen-Bradley preferred) Skilled in diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance of automated machinery Preferred experience working with Motoman welding robots Ability to read technical schematics and interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
