Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift Forvia Faurecia Interior Systems Chattanooga, TN 37406 Are you a skilled maintenance technician looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Forvia is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team on the second shift at our Chattanooga seating plant. What You’ll Do:
Monitor and Adjust Production Equipment:
Ensure our manufacturing equipment and controls are running at peak performance.
Manufacturing Engineering Support:
Provide essential support to the assigned production line.
PLC Troubleshooting and Adjustment:
Diagnose root causes of production problems and implement effective solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive improvements in throughput through innovative activities.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Work closely with Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to develop Poka-Yoke’s, Control Plans, Process Plans, and operator training.
Customer Requirements:
Develop plans using value analysis and techniques like PFMEA and Control Plans.
Documentation:
Create and implement manufacturing documentation and operator instructions.
Support Initiatives:
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the plant.
Automated Guided Vehicle Fleet:
Administer the Automated Guided Vehicle fleet in the plant.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of automotive experience. Minimum 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Electrical Maintenance:
Experienced in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
PLC Experience:
Proficient in working with PLCs.
General Maintenance Tech Skills:
Skilled in troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of production equipment.
MS Excel:

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$23.08 – $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 45 per week
