The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and functional environment for all occupants. Duties Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues and ensure proper functioning of equipment. Fabricate parts or components as necessary to support maintenance tasks. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards within the facility. Supervise maintenance staff during projects to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management. Maintain logic controllers and other automated systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for facility-related challenges. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and general repair techniques. Familiarity with CMMS software is advantageous. Experience in supervising or leading a team is beneficial. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely.
