This is not an entry-level role — we need someone who has previous experience in Property Management , strong HVAC knowledge , and the ability to confidently handle maintenance emergencies , including being on-call as needed. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repairs Diagnose and perform general maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant apartments, including electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and HVAC. Complete service requests promptly and professionally, with a focus on resident satisfaction. Conduct make-readies and unit turnovers with attention to quality and detail. HVAC & Systems Knowledge Utilize your HVAC knowledge to troubleshoot and repair heating and cooling systems. EPA Certification preferred — but if not already certified, a strong working knowledge and willingness to get certified is required. Assist in maintaining equipment, boilers, and other mechanical systems on property. On-Call & Emergency Response Be available for rotating on-call shifts and respond promptly to emergency maintenance needs (including nights, weekends, and holidays when assigned). Remain calm, solution-oriented, and safe in high-pressure or urgent situations. Exterior & Grounds Keep common areas, sidewalks, and grounds clean and hazard-free. Support seasonal tasks such as snow/ice removal or outdoor clean-up as needed. Safety & Compliance Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies. Proactively identify potential safety risks and take corrective action. Requirements Must have prior experience in apartment or multifamily property maintenance. Must have working knowledge of HVAC systems (EPA Certification a plus or willingness to obtain). Must be able to handle after-hours maintenance emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general handyman work. Why Work With Us?
