Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician role is a critical position in the success of United Enertech and is an ideal role for the self-motivated employee that is looking to develop themselves and prepare for a future as a maintenance professional. This role will provide the opportunity to learn and demonstrate their abilities individually and in a team environment. Duties include ensuring safety practices are followed, ensuring high standards of maintenance practices and professionalism. Duties /

Responsibilities:

Familiar with basic and advanced hand tools in a manufacturing industrial setting. Able to follow directions and execute assignments. Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. Proficient communication skills. Basic knowledge as it relates to the processes, electrical and mechanical aspects of industrial machinery and functionalities. Problem-solving skills Mechanical aptitude. General knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems and troubleshooting methods. Basic welding skills utilizing MIG and stick welders. Familiar with PM, and PdM concepts and processes. Ability to navigate mechanical schematics, blueprints, drawings etc. Basic understanding of electrical concepts, schematics, hand tools and measuring equipment. Work on individually assigned projects to improve the safety, quality and/ or productivity of the processes. Assist in developing and maintaining documentation as it relates to maintenance activities and machinery modifications. Recommendations for areas of improvements. Complete work orders on a daily basis. Ability to cover for other technicians in the event of vacations and/ or absences. Ability to work overtime as needed and/ or required. Any and all other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Other duties may be assigned according to the specific department or area in which you are responsible for. Required Skills / Abilities Must be knowledgeable of products and processes within your area and the facility. Must have working knowledge of machinery and equipment being used, and general maintenance techniques. Must be comfortable with email. Must successfully complete all training as assigned. Must successfully complete lift truck training.

Education and Experience:

Minimum 1 year of mechanical/ maintenance experience in an Industrial manufacturing environment. Ability to commute to and from work location. Ability to navigate typical computer software formats such as Excel, Word, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and email formats. Ability to maintain and adhere to company policies and procedures. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

Standing and walking for prolonged periods. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times. Must be comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Schedule Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM ? 2:30 PM. Pay $18 to $25 per hour DOE
