Swimming Pool Service Technician In Training Pool Scouts of Chattanooga Chattanooga, TN 37416 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial swimming pools. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service. Duties Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces. Test and balance pool water chemistry to ensure safe and clean swimming conditions. Inspect pool equipment for functionality, including pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting systems. Conduct minor repairs on pool equipment using hand tools and power tools as necessary. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their pool maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of services performed and any repairs made during visits. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all duties. Skills Proficient in pool cleaning techniques and maintenance practices. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment. Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively in a service technician capacity. Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and providing service updates. Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery.
