Maintenance Technician F L Crane & Sons Inc Middleton, TN F. L. We are based out of Fulton MS and operate 14 divisions throughout the southeastern part of the US. Locate, identify, and resolve any safety issues with mechanical or electrical devices Proactively investigate needs, evaluate issues, and present/recommend alternatives to decrease overall facility operational downtime thus increasing operational effectiveness. Support existing and future projects during installations, start-up, and long-term operation. Support corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance program at local facility Perform other duties as assigned Identify dull tooling and replace as necessary. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance. Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals. Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery. Requirements Education and/or Work Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred) 1-3 years of experience in general maintenance machine operations, facility maintenance, and maintenance for high volume conveying systems, etc. Experience in Pneumatic and Milling Tool Repair and Troubleshooting. Preferred Skills and Abilities Ability to effectively multi-task and respond to multiple job priorities simultaneously.
