JOB SUMMARY
Provide a clean, safe club environment by directing, installation, and repair of machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems. Manages all cleaning team needed to ensure a smooth operation of all areas of the club. Manage Company operations and department personnel. Motivate team to reach their individual and overall maintenance and cleaning goals. Contribute to the overall success of the Company by recruiting training and developing new team Inspire with focused vision and effective continuous training. Develop a quality maintenance and cleaning and ensure excellent customer service. Enforce current and any future policies and procedures established by the Company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsible for the maintenance, renovation, repair, and upkeep of all buildings, grounds, and facility equipment, ensuring the safe operational readiness and in accordance with current codes Ensure that the buildings, grounds, and equipment are maintained in optimum operating condition creating a safe, comfortable environment Responsible for maintaining and overseeing the facility preventive maintenance and cleaning program Responsible for providing sound and professional advice to the Area Maintenance Director Service all members and internal departments by extending excellent customer service always. Implements and maintains a preventive maintenance program for building and equipment In collaboration with General Manager and Area Maintenance Director, manages the personnel function by interviewing, selecting, evaluating, disciplining, and terminating personnel or recommending such action as necessary Assures that team members receive orientation and required in-service training and that they maintain required licensure or certification Evaluates and determines priorities of approved work request and schedules workload accordingly Inspects and may directly supervise major repair work and installation Oversees repair contract labor services to assure they are performed in accordance with contract and regulatory requirements Reviews specifications of major equipment and makes recommendation concerning purchase and installation of same Determines repairs and preventive maintenance required by inspecting equipment and plant Manage and control parts inventory Maintain overall appearance of facilities Manage daily/ weekly reports and schedule accordingly Track and record monthly expense reports Establish and maintain controls Job responsibility maybe altered as needed. Maintain team results by counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the facilities Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the club and the team. Periodic club walk through daily to evaluate the cleanliness and maintenance needs of the interior and exterior of a club. Resolve and document all major equipment and building issues, solutions and procedures to resolve. Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS – WHO YOU ARE
High school diploma, or GED equivalent Possess basic computer skills and above average writing, spelling, and math skills Prior experience in a service industry (i.e. food, retail, etc.) a plus Possess knowledge of and have experience with managing and/or repairing mechanical, plumbing, & electrical systems, experience with trade work, and fitness equipment Basic knowledge of equipment, building and pool maintenance, CPO training a plus Effectively communicate (verbal and writing skills) in English Willing and able to work a flexible shift: overnight, weekends, and holidays Must demonstrate a professional, upbeat demeanor at all times Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to multi-task Passion for fitness/health/wellness industry

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
