You will play a key role in ensuring our residents have a positive experience living. Perform routine maintenance tasks including but not limited, daily repairs and upkeep of the property as well as preparation for move-in and move-out of units Ensure that maintenance parts, supplies, and equipment are always stocked and available Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment Diagnose mechanical problems and determines how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property and/or residents Beyond regular hours, be available for on-call hours on a reasonable basis Responding to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently through company app which houses requests Maintain the internal and exterior condition and preservation of the property Communicate and follow up with the Property Manager about maintenance concerns and the status of work orders Assist the Property Manager in contracting vendors and taking bids for special project Be aware of OHSA standards and company safety policies at all times

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate Minimum of 2-3 years of building maintenance experience preferred HVAC certified preferred Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools Ability to lift 50lbs High school diploma or equivalent Fluent in written and spoken English Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license Reliable transportation Must be eligible to work in the U.S. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Position Type:

This is a full-time position located in Knoxville, TN. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. EST. Some overtime may be required including “on-call” and/or rotating “on-call” responsibilities.

Maintain accurate records using CMMS and provide excellent customer service to residents. Assist in supervising maintenance staff and coordinate tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
