Job Details Position Summary:
TheElectrical Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in supportingdaily operations by ensuring the reliability and functionality ofelectrical and pneumatic systems within a manufacturing facility.
This hands-on role demands expertise in electrical troubleshooting,mechanical repairs, and system installations. The technician willwork with a wide range of industrial equipment and be responsiblefor maintaining safety, efficiency, and uptime across all systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain electrical conduitsystems to support equipment and infrastructure needs. Set up andservice pneumatic tubing systems and related instrumentation usedin automated processes. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issuesinvolving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems,identifying root causes and implementing repairs. Disassemble,inspect, and reassemble pumps, motors, valves, compressors, andother equipment, replacing components such as bearings, seals,fuses, and impellers as necessary. Use voltmeters, ammeters,calipers, dial indicators, and other testing instruments to performaccurate diagnostics and adjustments. Read and interpret technicalschematics and manuals to guide maintenance and installationprocedures. Apply knowledge of electrical and pneumatic controlsystems to identify faults and restore system functionality usingappropriate tools and practices. Accurately input maintenanceactivity data into computerized maintenance management systems(CMMS) for tracking and reporting purposes. Maintain compliancewith all safety protocols, including proper use of personalprotective equipment (PPE), Lockout/Tagout procedures, and OSHAregulations. Collaborate with production and engineering teams tosupport continuous improvement and ensure optimal equipmentperformance. Assist with preventive maintenance programs, systemupgrades, and other assigned maintenance projects.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in anindustrial or manufacturing environment. Proficient with industrialelectrical systems, pneumatic controls, and mechanical components.
Comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic instruments, andmaintenance software platforms. Strong problem-solving skills andability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness towork flexible hours, including potential overtime and shift work asneeded.
Preferred Certifications and Training:
Electrical orMaintenance Technician Certification (preferred) OSHA 10/30Certification Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training Forklift or liftequipment certification (a plus) Interested in hearing more?
