Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Description Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician where you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and maintaining mechanical and electrical manufacturing equipment in a dynamic production facility. You will work with fabrication machinery, machining centers, punch and laser equipment, and a water treatment plant to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems ranging from 110v to 480v, including 12 and 24v panels and wiring. Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on hydraulics, pneumatics, transfer conveyors, and thermal ovens. Conduct preventative maintenance tasks such as oiling, greasing machinery, inspections, and moving machines. Engage in fabrication, welding, and general maintenance tasks to support production needs. Essential Skills Electrical troubleshooting and repair expertise, especially with 3-phase systems. Strong mechanical skills, including hydraulics and pneumatics maintenance. Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Experience with troubleshooting older machinery is essential. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a preference for 5 years or more. Experience in heavy manufacturing environments, particularly metal fabrication, is highly advantageous. High school diploma or GED required. Nice to have experience with Armada punch or brake press, HAAS vertical machining, PLC ladder logic troubleshooting and minor editing. Induction welding knowledge is a bonus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, with training available during day hours from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Overtime may be required every other Saturday for 2nd shift and Friday nights for 3rd shift. Uniforms are available, or you may wear your own work clothes such as jeans or work pants, short-sleeved shirts, and steel-toe boots. Some tasks require cut-resistant gloves, ensuring your safety during operations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Jackson, Tennessee Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62400.00 – $72800.00/yr.
