Maintenance Technician Minth North America 1801 Childress Road, Lewisburg, TN 37091 SUMMARY Maintains production and quality by ensuring gage and efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for setting up and tearing down jobs for scheduled production runs. Turns jobs over to the operator after verifying that the process is producing good parts. Reads and interprets equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and PM’s of all plant equipment. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Works with operators in doing setups and instructs in product evaluation. Documents adjustments to the manufacturing process including robots, fixtures, and process parameters. Establish, maintain, and implement welding parameters to support production and quality assurance. Performs preventive maintenance and troubleshoot automated welding cells and equipment. Works to eliminate downtime. Identifies and eliminates sources of downtime through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures with Engineering teams. Discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machine. Read blueprints, sketches, diagrams, and manuals. Performs other tasks given daily.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one year’s maintenance experience preferred. Experience and/or formal training in robotic material handling systems and have mechanical abilities. Must be able to read & write, basic math skills, ability to understand and follow written procedures. Able to trouble shoot, repair and or make recommendations, and perform root cause analysis. Must be able to pass the written Industrial Fork Truck Driver Test. Must pass Industrial Fork Truck Driver Road Test. Must pass Authorized Lock-out / Tag-out Training. Able to work different hours and shifts as needed.

Must be able to climb stairs, ladder, or up onto a forklift, or a press. Bending or stooping : Must be able to bend, crouch, or stoop to move boxes or inventory.
Lifting :
Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
Hand and Finger :
Picking, pinching, or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand or arm as in handling keyboard or picking up a piece of paper. Additional physical requirements : Manual dexterity sufficient to lift and carry boxes and to grasp the handle to use a hydraulic pallet jack and two-wheeled dolly. Visual acuity sufficient to use a computer, to count and verify lot numbers and quantities of parts for shipping.
Work Environment:
Inside factory area both with and without temperature controls and coated concrete floors.
