GM Job Description:
Ensure that all assembly and bonding (robotic plastic welding) lines including auxiliary equipment are kept in a functional and safe condition by dealing with predictive, preventive, and curative maintenance.
ACTIVITIES
- Plans and carries out preventive maintenance of automated machinery, robotic systems and utility services
- Repairs auxiliaries efficiently during downtime and addresses critical issues with Allen-Bradley and some Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and Fanuc robots (pick, place, weld, assemble)
- Seeks constant reduction of unscheduled machinery and equipment downtime with a heavy emphasis on automated equipment, pneumatics, and conveyor systems
- Participates in continuous improvement processes and activities
- Retains and Update maintenance documentation available and updated
- Retains and Maintain document stocks of necessary spare parts for assembly line
- Supports level 1 and Level 2 maintenance training
- Is responsible for tidiness of his/her work area (5S)
- Works according to HSE requirements
REQUIREMENTS
:
- High school diploma/GED, Technical Associates degree (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical) preferred
- Strong PLC, robotics, HMI, and application processes, previous experience with automated assembly, bonding, or plastics welding experience a plus
- 4 years’ experience maintaining tier I automotive just-in-time, just-in-sequence assembly and bonding production equipment a must
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Excel, etc.) and ability to use a CMMS
- Dedication to Safety
