Maintenance-Hotel 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars Athens, TN Commitment to Safety requirements and adornment of all proper PPE and/or uniforms Maintain hotel grounds and the pool as required Replace light bulbs in corridors and on building exterior Review maintenance cards from front desk to correct problems that have occurred since the manager prepared the daily work schedule Perform preventative maintenance on laundry equipment Repair loose door knobs and rotate locks as needed Repair damaged furniture Snow removal services Paint and/or repair damaged walls Clean A/C filters and perform light HVAC maintenance Repair leaking or clogged plumbing Repair damaged carpet Replace or repair damaged wallpaper Repair damaged or loose pictures and mirrors Adjust door closures-repair loose door frames Clean exterior windows Perform routine maintenance of lawn mowers and other equipment Maintain interior and exterior woodwork and trim Re-caulk windows, bathtubs, sinks and commodes or treat for mold and mildew Perform preventative maintenance on vacuum cleaners Repair light fixtures and lamps Conduct ongoing preventative room maintenance Understand and abide by all company policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager Qualifications Must be 18 years of age orolder Must be legally authorizedto work in the United States Must be able to use stairs, bend, squat, stand or walk for extended periods that may exceed 8 hours Ability to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently throughout the course of a normal work day Skills& Attributes – Desired Experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Maintenance experience in hospitality preferred but not required Excellent dependability and punctuality a must Positive attitude and teamwork Experience or Certification in Industrial HVAC preferred but not required Daly HotelManagement is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to creating apowerfully diverse workforce and a broadly inclusive workplace, where everyonecan contribute to their fullest potential each day.
