Hours:

40 hours per week About the Job We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our property in great shape. You’ll be responsible for fixing things around the property, preparing apartments for new tenants, and keeping everything running smoothly. What You’ll Do Complete repair requests quickly and timely Inspect and fix apartments before new tenants move in and after tenants move out. Do regular maintenance to prevent bigger problems in the future. Keep outside areas like sidewalks, breezeways, and common areas clean and safe. Take care of the pool, garden areas, drains, and make sure all trash is picked up around the property. Keep the maintenance shop and supply room organized, stocked, and keep an up-to-date inventory of tools and supplies. Be available for emergency repairs when needed, including nights and weekends. Make sure safety equipment like fire alarms and extinguishers are working. Keep your maintenance certifications up to date. Have key supplies ready for emergencies (like HVAC parts and water heaters), as well as everyday supplies for unit repairs and turnovers. What You’ll Need Experience doing maintenance at an apartment complex or similar property. Skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs. Good time management and organization skills. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, respectful, and able to communicate well with both residents and team members. Knowing how to use AppFolio software is a plus. CPO and HVAC certifications are not required but would be a plus. High school diploma or GED; trade school is a plus.
