The Maintenance Position will, while in an air-conditioned and heated facility, support and maintain CNC machines, Forming Machines, Welders, Inspection Equipment, and other facility related task related tasks. Most equipment will be used for manufacturing and testing products used on Earth and in Space. Description:

Must perform and conduct maintenance activities and repairs with minimal to no guidance. Must demonstrate familiarity and troubleshooting capability with CNC, Hydraulic/Fly Wheel Press, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, gauging, plumbing, HVAC, CAT 5/6, and Electrical equipment. Must use oscilloscopes and multimeters as needed. Communicates and collaborates with engineers, departmental leads, and operators Must independently demonstrate basic computer skills and use Flexial’s preventive maintenance program. With adequate guidance, the Maintenance position shall be capable of basic machining, welding, sawing, grinding, measuring components, and performing basic preventive maintenance activities.

Maintenance Technician I As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of our facility. You will independently manage facility startup and shutdown procedures as directed, including the operation of critical systems such as alarm systems, lighting, and air compressors. A significant aspect of this role involves independently troubleshooting, disassembling, repairing, and rebuilding a wide range of machinery and equipment throughout the facility, always adhering to manufacturer specifications and relevant legal codes. You will also independently manage diverse scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks and projects assigned by the Maintenance Lead. Your responsibilities will extend to independently performing electrical work, plumbing, HVAC maintenance, basic construction, and general building repairs. Furthermore, you will be proficient in independently utilizing relevant computer systems, including PM systems for task management, general Preventative Maintenance (PM) systems for equipment management, and

ERP/MRP. A

commitment to consistently exceeding expectations in both safety practices and work efficiency is paramount in this role. Typically, successful candidates will possess a minimum of three years of relevant work experience and hold a Maintenance Certificate.

Skills You Will Utilize:

Route and secure electrical and communication wiring and conduit. Accurately measure using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. Construct and join steel components through fabrication and welding. Interpret and apply information from blueprints and engineering drawings. Operate and adjust manual lathes for turning, boring, and face cutting. Operate and set up manual mills for drilling and milling tasks. Create and modify parts for machine repairs and upgrades. Utilize and navigate Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word for communication and documentation. Maintain the building’s functionality (e.g., repair structures, ensure utilities, upkeep grounds). Diagnose and repair CNC machine issues (e.g., identify faults, replace components, adjust settings, maintain good communication with OEM service departments). Diagnose and resolve electrical problems in equipment and facilities (e.g., test circuits, replace wiring, repair connections). Diagnose and resolve hydraulic system issues (e.g., identify leaks, replace hoses, adjust pressure). Identify and address common HVAC system problems (e.g., troubleshoot fans, replace relays, recharge refrigerant). Adhere to safety procedures and report any safety concerns. Position and connect heavy equipment (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, communication). Run and terminate Cat 6 cables. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on CNCs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, HVAC units, and production equipment. Evaluate machine performance using multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, and micrometers. Investigate and repair mechanical breakdowns through observation and technical understanding. Create and modify parts for machine repairs and upgrades. Conduct regular inspections and upkeep on production equipment and the facility. Communicate details of repair work to the production team. Keep the work area organized and clean. Determine and list needed repair items and maintenance supplies. Initiate requests for supplies. Document repairs and PMs within the maintenance system. Operate company vehicles to obtain supplies. Perform basic cleaning and upkeep duties as needed.

Certified Industrial Maintenance Degree High School GED/Diploma
