OIL CHANGE/LIGHT MAINTENANCE TECH
Dayton Auto Care 3883 Rhea County Highway, Dayton, TN 37321 Dayton Auto Care is seeking an oil change/light maintenance technician. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: changing oil and oil filters; installing brakes, belts, and batteries; mounting, balancing and rotating tires; performing and documenting multi-point inspections; replacing fluids, wiper blades, and air and fuel filters; completing shop safety inspections, and general housekeeping tasks. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic; honesty and integrity; practical automotive mechanical knowledge; necessary hand tools; a valid unrestricted state drivers license and clean driving record. This position requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, ability to drive manual transmission vehicles, punctuality, dependability, clean and neat appearance, an attention to detail, and a “safety always” attitude. Performing in this position also requires listening and following oral instructions; hearing sounds and recognizing the difference between them; lifting up to 50 lbs; kneeling; stooping; crouching; crawling; standing for extended periods; and raising both arms overhead. Reading comprehension, writing, and computer literacy are a must. Prior experience in an automotive shop environment is a plus.
