Job Description

3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic $29.50/hr Starting Pay Job Description The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the continuous operation of all industrial equipment. This includes performing preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing technical solutions to enhance the manufacturing process. Responsibilities Maintain all industrial equipment including conveyors, photo eye sensors, packaging equipment, labelers, cappers, and other various machinery. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly. Participate in manufacturing process improvement initiatives. Conduct repairs and implement technical solutions effectively. Utilize precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, and multimeters. Essential Skills 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience working on hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors. Comfortable with changeovers, setups, fillers, pumps, and valves. Experience with 3-phase motors. Previous experience in GMP or food manufacturing is advantageous. Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, repair, preventive maintenance, and electrical skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Preferably 3+ years of experience in a GMP environment. Computer proficiency in MS Office. Minimum 5 years of related manufacturing experience in an FDA facility is ideal; average 3 years in a non-FDA facility. Why Work Here? Experience in the food and beverage industry is beneficial due to FDA regulations. Be prepared for strong odors, such as mouthwash, lotion, and alcohol, depending on the department. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $28.00/hr.
