This role offers growth across three levels (I-III) based on experience, technical ability, and leadership skills. Whether you’re just starting your maintenance career or bring advanced mechanical and electrical expertise, this position provides a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for supporting the performance, safety, and reliability of facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure. This includes a wide range of tasks—automotive repairs, facility maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, electrical work, and mechanical diagnostics. As you advance, the role expands to include independent project work, equipment-specific repairs, leadership, and cross-department collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Perform general repairs across automotive, building, and production equipment systems. Troubleshoot and maintain industrial tools such as presses, shears, saws, and other fabrication machinery. Diagnose and repair facility systems, including HVAC units, lifts, and mobile equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics; execute basic to advanced electrical installations, including three-phase power setups. Support preventative maintenance schedules and respond to equipment downtime with urgency. Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure minimal disruptions to production flow. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed. Help direct maintenance resources to optimize plant efficiency and operational uptime.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (required). Relevant vocational training or certifications are a plus. Varying levels of experience accepted—from entry-level to advanced. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. We’re hiring across multiple experience levels and will align responsibilities and expectations accordingly. Ideal candidates will have some or all of the following: Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, or building maintenance. Knowledge of powered industrial vehicles, HVAC systems, and shop equipment. Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision. Comfort interpreting technical diagrams, equipment specs, and schematics. Willingness to support cross-functional teams such as fabrication, painting, assembly, or logistics. Leadership potential, including mentoring others and helping to set the work pace (for advanced candidates).
