The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates safely and effectively. Duties Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate testing equipment and tools. Set up production equipment in accordance with current GMPs and SOPs Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure machinery’s optimal performance. Operate forklifts and other machinery safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks. Collaborate with service technicians to address complex repair needs. Do preventive and/or emergency maintenance on equipment. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop environment. Skills Proficient in working with hydraulic systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs. Skilled in soldering for electrical repairs when necessary. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients. Mechanical aptitude Use of power tools.
