Position Summary:

Primarily responsible for keeping the facility operating and repairing any problems related to the routine maintenance of the facility and maintenance of all machinery and equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting problems with machinery and production equipment. Preventative Maintenance of all machinery and equipment used for production. Perform improvements to enhance safety. Good working relationship with co-workers. Meeting timelines for installation or improvements to machinery and facility. Must be hands on and willing to get dirty with your fellow employees. Find and procure parts and equipment as needed for jobs or find substitutes to make repairs. Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience): To perform this job, the candidate should have: Experience in electrical work, which includes single phase and three phase. Knowledge and application of wire size and gauges. Must have a basic understanding of machinery electronics such as PLC’s, power supplies, relays, and other control circuitry. Ability to work with EMT electrical conduit including bending, forming, hanging and connections. Knowledge of equipment operations and functions such as air compressors, powder coat paint equipment, brake presses, CNC machining centers, and other manufacturing equipment. Working knowledge of hydraulics. Working knowledge of pneumatics. Working knowledge of welders, plasma cutter, and cutting torch Must have knowledge of electrical motors, types, and uses. Ability to perform routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage (for example, window, door or wall repair), repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures, and maintaining the building HVAC equipment to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly. HVAC training a plus. Ability to use basic hand tools. Ability to drive a forklift and scissor lift. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. Ability to employ critical thinking and logic to solve maintenance issues. Willingness to share expertise and knowledge with team members and be a focal point for advice. Must be able to respond to the ever changing needs and demands of maintenance to facility and equipment. Must have basic knowledge of calipers and other measuring devices. Outstanding communication skills Experience using Excel, Word, and Outlook Working knowledge of lean principles and team building techniques Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Good attitude and ability to work as a team member. Attention to detail and is thorough in completing tasks. Understands and supports Company policy and procedures. Ability to work overtime.
