POSITION SUMMARY

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will assist the Assistant General Manager with the daily upkeep of the facility’s buildings, grounds and event production. This position will generally involve the performance of manual tasks requiring skilled or special knowledge acquired through on-the-job training or experience. The Facilities Assistant will provide supervision of and aid team members in the completion of various tasks and day-to-day maintenance duties as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING

Be the direct support lead to the Assistant General Manager
Assist in organization and execution of work schedules PM maintenance and part time employee training.
Provide routine maintenance support inclusive of basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, decorating and painting.
Ensure all common areas within the indoor facility inclusive of offices, bathrooms, meetings rooms, retail area, conference rooms, and hospitality rooms, break room, food area and all related windows are clean and well maintained.
Support the Assistant General Manager in cleaning and maintaining the gymnasium floor and all gymnasium areas.
Clean and maintain all sports equipment both indoor and outdoor.
Assist with the maintenance of the overall grounds including mowing, blowing, edging and weeding and watering the landscape, walkways and campus outdoor areas.
Assist the Assistant General Manager in maintaining the outdoor fields as it relates to turf care and equipment upkeep.
Assist the Assistant General Manager in court and field set ups for events, tournaments, camps and clinics.
Assist on deep cleans throughout the facility.
Assist and support Department Managers as required.
Supervise and direct part-time event staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial & landscaping
High School Diploma or equivalent certification requirement
Understand and follow both oral and written instructions
Work independently with minimal supervision
Effective time management skills
Prior experience using maintenance equipment and procedures
1 to 2 years’ experience in general facility maintenance
Candidate must be available and willing to work long hours and varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Possess or ability to obtain a valid Driver’s License

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Basic computer skills
Will be required to perform heavy lifting
Will be required to work in all weather conditions
Will be required to paint, clean equipment, and safely handle chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol forms
Knowledge of and ability to use hand tools, power tools, cleaning machines, outdoor power equipment such as: UTV, tractor, mower, lifts
Will be required to work in conditions that will create dirt and dust
Will be required to perform essential maintenance to facility or equipment which may involve but are not limited to the following activities: semi reaching to full-reach overhead; crouching; kneeling; shoveling; working in narrow and/or confining spaces: underground, overhead, and at ground level; twisting of the waist, shoulders, and legs; and lying on stomach and/or back
Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of time, flexible hours
Ability to climb elevated areas to complete tasks
Facility has intermittent noise
