Hotel Maintenance Technician | Select Service Hotel | Experience a PLUS Synergy Hospitality Group Memphis, TN 38128 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, performing routine maintenance, and addressing any mechanical issues that arise. This role requires a strong background in mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, utilizing schematics and technical manuals as necessary. Operate and maintain Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules. Fabricate parts as needed to support repairs or improvements. Weld components when necessary to ensure structural integrity of equipment. Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient workflow. Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting operations. Skills Proficient in using hotel systems for maintenance tracking and reporting. Strong understanding of logic controllers and their applications in machinery. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising teams or projects. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintaining various types of equipment. Proficient in welding techniques for repairs and fabrication tasks. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing maintenance tasks.
