About This Role:
In this role, you will perform mechanical maintenance functionsrelated to plant facilities and equipment. You will use a varietyof hand and power tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers,hammers, gauges, test equipment, welding tools, and more. You willwork under verbal, written, or demonstrated instructions, dependingon your experience level and the frequency of new productintroductions. Direction and supervision will typically come froman assigned Supervisor, but you may also receive guidance from aLead person based on the Supervisor’s instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, trouble shoot, maintain, repair, overhaul, etc.,any type of machine, fabricating machine, processing equipment orfacility. Check equipment and notify Supervisor of situations requiringcorrective action. Use specified safety equipment and practices. Assist less qualified maintenance personnel with maintenanceprocedures. Complete and return check sheets to Supervisor asrequired. Keep equipment and working areas clean and in goodorder. Keep accurate and legible records.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in industrial or military maintenancewith a trade school certificate OR 3+ years of experience inindustrial maintenance
