JOB SUMMARY
This position performs numerous tasks which involve aspects of physical labor regarding the manufacture, demolition, and installation of specialized equipment and systems. Assist in the manufacture, installation, repair and maintenance of industrial machinery, and electrical /electronic equipment. Perform duties such as furnishing materials, tools and other supplies to workers and to the job site; cleaning work area, machines and tools as well as holding materials or tools for other workers.
EDUCATION
Preferred:
High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE
Required:
Some work experience in a manufacturing or agriculture environment.
Preferred:
Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience.
POSITION REQUIREMENT

Specialized Skills/License/Certification Required:
Have knowledge of basic hand tools and their use.
Preferred:
Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Disassemble broken or defective equipment to facilitate repair and reassemble equipment when repairs are complete. Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments, using hand or power tools. Examine and test machinery, equipment, components, and parts for defects to ensure proper functioning. Hold or supply tools, parts, equipment, and supplies for other workers. Position vehicles, machinery, equipment, physical structures, and other objects for assembly or installation, using hand tools, power tools, and moving equipment. Adjust, maintain, and repair tools, equipment, and machines, and assist more skilled workers with similar tasks. Adjust, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts, using hand or power tools. Clean or lubricate vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects, using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment. Assemble and maintain physical structures, using hand or power tools. Clean or prepare construction or manufacturing sites to eliminate possible hazards. Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities. Completes special projects upon request, and other duties may be assigned.
