The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in carwash equipment maintenance. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and systems within our carwashes to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will be a crucial asset to the team and overall experience we provide at all Century Express Carwashes. The Maintenance Technician will also provide excellent customer service while supervising maintenance activities. This role includes a company vehicle, company credit card, cell phone stipend and tools necessary for the job. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and logic controllers. Fabricate parts as necessary to ensure equipment functionality. Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using the detailed maintenance log – Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Annually Completing punch lists to ensure facility cleanliness and upkeep, including but not limited to: Pressure washing, painting, wall repair, caulking, mopping, concrete repair, minor welding jobs Adhering to schedule and changing filters for various equipment and AC units Ensure that underground plumbing and drainage is operational and snaking, unclogging if necessary Maintaining Central Vac systems for each site: Greasing, inspecting, leveling and clearing out main trunk lines quarterly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during all maintenance tasks. Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and external clients. Qualifications Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics. Experience with logic controllers and facilities maintenance practices. Some experience or background in plumbing, electrical and or HVAC Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong supervisory skills.
