Maintenance Technician Job Description These candidates will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance in this distribution facility. Responsibilities Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs to material handling equipment. Use structured preventive maintenance systems to maintain distribution machinery and equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations and good maintenance practices. Maintain efficient operation of material handling equipment by clearing jams and removing foreign materials. Perform general building maintenance as directed, such as lamp replacement, simple construction, drywall, windows, wiring, repair of overhead doors, and plumbing. Essential Skills Troubleshooting Maintenance technician Electrical Hydraulics Preventive maintenance PLC troubleshooting Industrial Electrical troubleshooting 3-phase Conveyor maintenance Mechanical aptitude PLC maintenance Cleaning At least 2 years of maintenance experience in a facilities, United States Armed Forces, distribution, and/or manufacturing environment. At least 6 months of experience with hand and power tools (such as drills, fasteners, and saws) in a facilities, United States Armed Forces, distribution, and/or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of industrial electricity including single-phase and three-phase power, motors, protective devices, and/or photo sensors. Knowledge of mechanical theory including bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyor, construction, and operation. Ability to perform tasks which include repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking Ability to climb ladders, change out lights, and perform basic facility maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Significant IT component with automation
- operations off of PLC
- Microsoft SQL to query databases for information, data that comes into the robots and leaves the robots and then leaves the facility. Skills around wrench turning, maintenance
- know what a bearing and valve block is, but also have IT experience.
Work Environment First Shift:
Sun-Thur from 06:30AM to 2:30
PM OR Second Shift:
Wed-Sun from 06:30AM to 2:30PM Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00
