Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out various maintenance tasks, including installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment to ensure machinery remains operational. This position also performs general facilities maintenance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Install new production equipment
• Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, and other related production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical break downs
• Fabricate parts for repair and machine upgrades
• Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery and facilities
• Communicate effectively with managers, supervisor, and other associates
• Follow all safety and company policies and procedures
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports, logs, etc.
• Other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance (480VAC3 phase & 24VDC)
• Familiarity with PLC’s
• Ability to follow and read instructions/schedules to carry out assignments
• Comfortable in working around heavy duty machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all associates
• Ability to handle a physically demanding workload – standing for long periods of time, heavy lifting and moving
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

Education and Experience:

Prior experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar position General experience with building facilities maintenance – HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, etc. Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment

Physical Requirements:

Potential lifting of up to 60 lbs. Extended periods of standing, lifting and moving
