Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Above Ground Pool Installer to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and setup of above ground swimming pools for residential clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in pool installation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently and safely on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Pool Installation:

Accurately install above ground swimming pools according to manufacturer specifications and company guidelines.

Site Preparation:

Prepare the installation site by measuring, leveling the ground, and ensuring that the area is free from obstructions or hazards.

Assembly:

Assemble pool components (e.g., liner, frame, and plumbing) and ensure that all parts are secure and functional.

Equipment Operation:

Safely operate tools and machinery (e.g., backhoes, trenchers, pumps) to assist with pool installation.

Plumbing & Electrical:

Connect pool plumbing systems (e.g., pump, filter) and perform basic electrical setup, ensuring all installations are compliant with safety codes.

Quality Control:

Ensure the pool installation meets quality standards and customer satisfaction by inspecting the work once completed.

Client Interaction:

Communicate directly with customers to provide updates on installation progress, answer questions, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Clean-Up:

Complete post-installation clean-up and ensure the job site is left neat and tidy.

Qualifications:

Proven experience installing above ground pools or in related construction/installation work. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions. Knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the spot. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with clients to meet their needs. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Own tools and equipment are preferred (or willing to obtain). See below Must own your own full size truck. Must own or have access to a trailer. Must own or have access to a Bobcat or Front Loader. Must own or have access to a Transit or Laser Level (if you don’t know what those are, this is not the job for you). Must have or have access to a minimum of a minimum $1,000,000 general liability insurance. Must have at least one helper. Must be willing to start immediately. Above-ground or In-ground pool experience is definitely helpful but not required. However relevant grading experience is required. Must have a valid driver license and proof of auto insurance. Must be willing and able to pass a thorough Background Check. (All applications and circumstances surrounding the applicant are considered and reviewed on a case by case basis.) Must be willing to work full-time and cover a minimum 200 mile radius with additional overnight travel required as well. Must have a smart phone with a camera. Must be willing and able to work full time (at least 5-6 days per week). Must be able to start immediately.

Compensation:

1000 to 2000 per pool Ability to earn [bonuses/incentives] based on performance and number of pools installed.
