Qualifications Qualification Requirements:
To perform the UtilityWorker 1 role, you must:
- Successfully completePlacement/Performance Exercises
- Successfully complete PhysicalAbility/Fit for Duty Testing
- Have a valid driver’s license fromstate of residence
- Obtain a valid Class A Commercial Driver’sLicense from state of residence within trial or probationary periodafter entering classification
Physical Working Conditions:
Worksoutside. Subject to inclement weather, traffic, working inproximity of high voltages and hazards of construction work.
Subject to emergency work; climbing, balancing, kneeling, bending,pulling, pushing, standing, reaching, heavy lifting/carrying up to98, stooping, crouching, crawling, working in confined spaces,climbing ladders, feelings, fingering, gripping, hearing, jumping,repetitive motion, seeing, sitting, twisting and walking. Must beable to wear and utilize safety equipment (i.e., ladders,respirator, etc.) in accordance with Occupational Safety and HealthAdministration (OSHA) standards and Tennessee Occupational Safetyand Health Administration (TOSHA) standards.
