Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.

Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.

Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.

Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.

Assists in special project needs.

Handle with Care participation annually or CPI participation every 2 years.
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required

License:

Must have a valid TN drivers license and good driving record. Good driving record consist of not more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years, 1 at fault accident in last 3 years, no DUI, reckless or careless driving, and no suspensions of license in last 3 years.

Minimum Work Experience
Previous experience in hospital or industrial maintenance; five to ten years solid background in all phases of building maintenance (remodeling, demolition, new construction, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, pipefitting, plumbing, etc.) preferred
