Maintenance Technician Position Available In Sumner, Tennessee

Job Title:

Maintenance Technician Job Description Responsible for the safe troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment and facilities. Responsibilities Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Adhere to job-specific work instructions related to assignments. Receive and interpret instructions, work orders, and blueprints for scheduled and emergency repairs, installations, and inspections. Operate production machinery. Test and inspect equipment for defects, misalignment, wear, failure, insufficient lubrication, and potential improvements. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance. Mechanical skills including hydraulics, preventive maintenance, and repair. Experience with flange bearings, taper locks, and conveyor maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Millwright/Maintenance Mechanics troubleshooting on 60HP

• 100HP motors, heavy equipment, overhead cranes, etc.

Ability to install and replace rollers, belts, and motors on belt-driven conveyors. Experience with installation and replacement of flange bearings and taper locks.

Multi-craft Technicians:

30% Electrical, 70% Mechanical expertise. 480V electrical troubleshooting and 110V AC that runs into PLC Systems. Work Environment This role involves working in a hot and heavy foundry environment with molten liquid steel, typically 10+ degrees hotter than the outside temperature. The schedule follows a 2-2-3 rotation, alternating between day shifts from 7:00am

• 7:00pm and night shifts from 7:00pm
• 7:00am every two weeks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gallatin, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00
• $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
