College Grove, TN Description The Grove, located just outside Nashville and minutes from historic Franklin, is a 1,100-acre gated community offering a distinctive private club lifestyle dedicated to providing exceptional member services and the most comprehensive amenity and recreational offerings in the region. We are currently seeking an accomplished, self-motivated, and detail-oriented professional to join the team. This position will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs of the facility. Ideal candidates will have plumbing, drainage, electrical, and mechanical experience. . Essential Functions Cleans and assists with facilities upkeep; must be able to operate pressure washers and similar equipment. Plans and completes skilled repairs including, but not limited to electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and minor roofing repairs. Other repairs to include drywall, paint, door, and building fixtures. Completes routine maintenance of equipment, including motors, fan and air compressors, plumbing fixtures, etc. Performs HVAC maintenance and repairs; coordinates with management to schedule services from third parties for major troubleshooting and service. Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events. Communicates supply and material repair needs with supervisor and/or manager to ensure timely ordering and reduce downtime. Completes required fire extinguisher inspections for all extinguishers on the premises. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or GED Two (2) to five (5) years of general facilities maintenance preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds (lbs) Must be comfortable with frequent standing, walking, squatting, crouching, and climbing; climbing heights can reach up to 75ft.
