The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory. Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as an ohmmeter. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively. Lead small teams in maintenance projects, providing guidance and support to junior technicians. Carry out residential painting tasks as needed to maintain the aesthetic quality of facilities. Fabricate parts or components as required for repairs or upgrades. Supervise maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Experience Proven experience in maintenance roles, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Experience in supervising or leading teams is a plus. Knowledge of residential painting techniques is desirable but not mandatory.
