Job Description
Property Maintenance Technician Private B&G Williamson County, TN Property Maintenance Technician The Property Maintenance employee will work directly with the Facilities Manager to plan and execute the overall maintenance of the occupied residences on the properties. Property Maintenance employee will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including carpentry, sheetrock, masonry, painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical, heating and cooling, and other building systems. The Property Maintenance employee will be expected to coordinate plans and services with internal and external contacts, including family members, property staff, contractors and vendors as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy regarding Principals, family members, guests, and properties.
- Develops, implements, and maintains cyclical maintenance routines for all property facilities and equipment.
- Regularly inspect all occupied residences and associated facilities and conduct any necessary cleaning, repair or maintenance required or as directed by Facilities Manager.
- Maintenance of grounds, including cobwebbing, deck cleaning, trash management
- Perform repairs, installation of fixtures and appliances and replacement of damaged systems.
- Performs carpentry, sheetrock and masonry repairs and painting of repaired areas.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify any issues.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems for pool, geothermal HVAC and other facility equipment.
- Plans repair work using necessary blueprints, drawings or equipment manuals as needed.
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
- Inventory, ordering, and storage of supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Provide construction assistance for repairs, remodels and new construction as requested.
- Maintain vehicles, including washing, oil changes and regular maintenance
- Notify the Facilities Manager of any unsafe or hazardous conditions and repair or maintain as required.
- Manage all work in compliance with OSHA and applicable environmental regulations, contracts, codes, zoning, and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain quality control and ensure that work is completed in a professional manner to the satisfaction of the Employer.
- Be on-call to respond to emergency issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions from manager or senior employees and Principals.
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of facility/property equipment, maintenance, and management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and dexterity.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs from ground to position.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Vocational or trade school certification preferred.
- Requires extensive background check

$28.00 – $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
