The Maintenance Technician is the go-to forkeeping our plant running smoothly, responsible for maintaining,troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical andmechanical equipment in our fast-paced food processing environment.

You’ll be a jack-of-all-trades, bringing your expertise inelectrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, welding, andfabrication to solve complex issues and keep production ontrack.

From troubleshooting to hands-on repairs, you’ll tackleeverything from routine maintenance to more challenging systemfixes, all while providing critical technical support across theentire operation. The role involves working on systems of varyingcomplexity, requiring your sharp problem-solving skills and abilityto think on your feet-ensuring equipment runs smoothly andproduction never skips a beat. WHAT YOU’LL DO

Efficient Work Order & Emergency Response – Review work ordersto assess the tools, equipment, time, manpower, parts, and suppliesneeded for each task-ensuring you’re always prepared. Use SAP tocreate work orders. Respond quickly to emergency calls, showing upwith the right tools and equipment to get the job done fast andefficiently. Read and interpret technical documents such asblueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals to diagnoseand repair complex issues. Hands-On Maintenance & Equipment Repair – Monitor machinerywhile in operation to spot malfunctions early, ensuring productionstays on track. Disassemble and troubleshoot mechanical equipment,pinpoint faulty parts, replace and reassemble with precision, andtest to ensure proper functionality. Fabricate replacement partswhen necessary, using skills like welding, cutting, and sheet metalwork to ensure repairs are done right. Perform regular preventivemaintenance on a wide range of mechanical systems, including pumps,packaging, slicing equipment, and more, keeping everything runningsmoothly. Installation & System Maintenance – Take charge of installingand maintaining essential systems, from mechanical equipment andpiping to electrical controls-ensuring everything meetsmanufacturer specs and local safety regulations. Install newequipment and utilities, including electrical, water, gas, anddrain lines, to keep operations running at full capacity. Technical Skills & Problem-Solving – Stay sharp with a workingknowledge of small hand tools and devices used in generalmechanical maintenance-ready to tackle a variety of tasks withease. Adhere to preventive and predictive maintenance schedules toensure optimal performance and minimal downtime of all plantsystems. Safety First! You’ll follow all company safety protocols,including

WHAT WE’RE SEEKING

To perform this job successfully, anindividual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative ofthe knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonableaccommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform theessential functions. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1+years of related experience and/or training in an industrialmechanical maintenance or food manufacturing environment; or 4years’ direct experience in an industrial mechanical maintenance orfood manufacturing maintenance environment. Vocational Diploma, Technical Diploma or associate degree froma technical maintenance or vocational school. (Preferred). Possess the ability to function effectively in a teamenvironment and interact productively with all levels of teampersonnel and outside contractors. Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift or scissor lift orother powered industrial trucks (PIT). Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
