Job Description

Our client, in Milton VT is seeking a maintenance technician join their team. As a maintenance technician you will be monitoring all machine operations and tending to service calls and more.

  • 60-65K depending on experience Analyzes, diagnosis, and resolves equipment problems.

Inspects completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards. Test and observes mechanical devices in operation to locate potential problems and make necessary adjustments for improvement. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Installs new automation and conveyors and repairs electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Lay out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structure of building. Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment. Sets up and operated machine tools such as grinders and drills to repair or fabricate machine parts, jugs, and fixtures and tools. Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Use hand carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and run shrink wrap machinery. Is dependable, accurate, punctual, has quality to work and problem solve. Follow all governmental, safety and security policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from 2yr college or technical school; or 6 months to 1yr related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, write, do mathematics, comprehend instructions, and have computer skills. Working knowledge of electronics, safety regulations, mig welding, pneumatics, warehouse operations, building and ground maintenance, experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment. Ability to work as team, quickly adapt, learn new skills, and moves independently. This is an essential on-site position during inclement weather.
