Job Summary:

The Installation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing Installation Technicians and the quality installation practices and customer training during installation of services.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position will oversee Installation Technicians.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily schedules and daily productivity of the ISP crew.
• Properly fill out necessary documentation, record time for the crew, etc.
• Communicate with Inside Plant Superintendent providing regular updates on projects.
• Assist installation and other teams with customer activation of fiber-optic telecommunication.
• Install full video services, including analog, digital and HDTV.
• Install and disconnect telephone and internet customers.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safe practices and adhering to safety policies, which includes practicing safe driving techniques.
• Install all types of CAT5/CAT6, Coax and fiber optic drop wire and install connectors on CAT5/CAT6, Coax and fiber optic drop wire.
• Ability to read and understand installation drawings and blueprints
• Rack mount and connect communications equipment
• Updated installation drawings for as-built conditions
• Troubleshoot video, telephone, and internet problems from any telecommunications demark to customer premise equipment.
• Successfully install all ancillary equipment provided to subscribers.
• Test and tone all drop wires from equipment room to end user locations.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least one year of related supervisory experience required.

Work Environment:

• Must be comfortable working on a ladder and all heights.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$17.00 – $21.00 per hour
