Job Summary:
The Installation Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing Installation Technicians and the quality installation practices and customer training during installation of services.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position will oversee Installation Technicians.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily schedules and daily productivity of the ISP crew.
- Properly fill out necessary documentation, record time for the crew, etc.
- Communicate with Inside Plant Superintendent providing regular updates on projects.
- Assist installation and other teams with customer activation of fiber-optic telecommunication.
- Install full video services, including analog, digital and HDTV.
- Install and disconnect telephone and internet customers.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safe practices and adhering to safety policies, which includes practicing safe driving techniques.
- Install all types of CAT5/CAT6, Coax and fiber optic drop wire and install connectors on CAT5/CAT6, Coax and fiber optic drop wire.
- Ability to read and understand installation drawings and blueprints
- Rack mount and connect communications equipment
- Updated installation drawings for as-built conditions
- Troubleshoot video, telephone, and internet problems from any telecommunications demark to customer premise equipment.
- Successfully install all ancillary equipment provided to subscribers.
- Test and tone all drop wires from equipment room to end user locations.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least one year of related supervisory experience required.

- Must be comfortable working on a ladder and all heights.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
