Thurs – Sun 1st Shift from 6AM to 4:30PM, Mon – Thurs 2nd Shift from 4PM to 1:30

AM Active Secret Clearance Preferred Job Description :

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance. Key Duties Fabrication of cable assemblies for flight and ground support hardware. Electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly. Constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, and/or systems. Able to work and build assemblies in accordance with work instructions. Ability to read and work to engineering drawings Perform a variety of hands-on electrical assembly and minor mechanical assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. Conduct basic math and use computers at a basic level. May conduct in process quality inspections on work in process in accordance with quality specifications. Make continuity checks on work in process and completed work. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications under simulated conditions.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to gain proficiency in one of the following: mechanical or electrical build sequences. Ability to follow detailed work instructions. Experience working in a production type environment. Manufacturing experience Experience with Bonding, mate/de-mate cables and hardware

Desired Skills:

Ordnance handling Missile build experience is a plus Experience working in around ESD sensitive equipment
