What You’ll Do:
Pull and route
CAT5/CAT6
cables in a data center or new commercial construction setting Terminate phone jacks and dress/terminate distribution frames (66/110 blocks, patch panels) Test and troubleshoot networking issues Install support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
What You’ll Need:
At least 1 year of structured cabling experience (or 4+ months for entry-level roles) Your own cabling tools & PPE (punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, hard hat, boots, safety glasses, etc.) Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards is a plus Ability to follow OSHA safety standards Must be familiar with standard color codes Flexibility to work Saturdays as needed.
