POSITION OVERVIEW

ADB Wireless is seeking a skilled Level II Technician DAS that willbe expected to accomplish project objectives by the leadership ofthe Foreman. The Technician will learn how to work in indoor andoutdoor DAS environments installing coax, remotes, antennas, andtheir associated cabling safely and efficiently. The Level IITechnician will receive mentoring from experienced Level IIITechnician and Foreman. The ideal candidate will have a strongbelief in the safety and well-being of team members, as well as astrong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Layout and install overhead cableladders and equipment racks
  • Route and lace cables in equipmentrooms
  • Safely install and wire DC powerplants from the DC side
  • Maintain cable labeling schemes across large installs
  • Properlyroute and secure Fiberoptic cables and DC power wiring
  • Fabricatesteel in the field – custom/modify mounts (antennae or roughmounts)
  • Troubleshoot fiber, power and RF issues utilizing thePIM/Sweep gear and fiber tester
  • Properly take Pre-Construction andCloseout photos
  • Performs the installation Low Voltage, RF,Cellular Systems in customer locations
  • Works on communicationsequipment for the purpose of installing, replacing, and repairingin Cellular antenna systems equipment; performs maintenance underclose supervision.
  • Safely operates assigned company equipment andensures that it is maintained according to manufacturer’sspecifications.
  • Ability to recognize the hazards associated withinstalling equipment, construction equipment, and working on ornear energized lines and equipment.
  • Gain knowledge from theexperienced Level III Technicians and Foreman to develop yourskills based on the Career Advancement Matrix (CAM)
  • Performs otherposition duties when requested

  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Corporate headquarters is located at: 18777 USHighway 66 Pacific, MO 63069
  • Must be able to work in a variety ofphysical positions like sitting, squatting, standing, walking,climbing, etc.
  • May be exposed to uncomfortable or distractingsounds or noise levels while onsite
  • Must endure regular exposureto all weather conditions, including hot, cold, humidity and rainthrough the year
  • When working on site, will be required to wearcommon protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses,gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel toed boots.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • 2+ years of experience in the careerfield associated with a Wireless Technologies preferred
  • First Aid/ CPR certification required
  • RF Awareness Training required
  • OSHA30 certification preferred
  • Valid driver license with a cleandriving record required
