Job Description
Description Wireless EOL Boom certified Experience installing Cat6 cabling in warehouse environment. proper installation methods, terminating and testing. Experience installing conduit and strut. Experience installing APs in an active warehouse environment. Experience supervising 2-3 other technicians. Experience providing daily updates, and ability to look ahead at project needs such as tooling, material, and manpower needs. Provide your own PPE. Hard hat, gloves, High-vis vest, composite shoes, and eye protection. Provide your own Low Voltage Hand tools. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Experience with low voltage wiring and installation. General understanding of network switch layout and installation. Ability to read and interpret physical and digital prints, providing any redline drawings as needed. Certifications in low-voltage installation a plus. Experience performing wireless surveys a plus. Excel, word and general computer proficiency. Excellent communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Responsibilities:
Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure. Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings up to 2,000,000 sq ft, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work. Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations. Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct. Repair cable poles and towers. Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems and component devices are operational. Troubleshoot issues with cable networks to ensure the proper functioning and to ensure the system meets local, county, state, or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements. Adhere to all required project safety requirements – OSHA. Provide regular updates to Project Management on project status and current objectives. Lead small crews of 2-8 technicians by providing daily instruction and training, as needed. Experience Level Intermediate Level
