Run cables from telecom equipment racks to end locations (above ceilings, in walls, or below floors). Install cable pathways such as trays, troughs, harnesses, and j-hooks. Install MPLS, faceplates, surface mount raceways, and jacks with proper numbering and cable labeling. Qualifications (required) Proficient with hand and power tools. Ability to follow directions from multiple sources. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally. Able to differentiate colors for color-coded wiring. Skilled in manual dexterity for small tool work. Comfortable working in diverse environments (office, schools, construction). Flexible to work various shifts. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to climb ladders, work overhead, and kneel for extended periods. Must have reliable transportation if a company vehicle is unavailable.
