What You’ll Do:
As a Lead Technician, you’ll take charge on job sites, leading crews through installs that range from standard structured cabling to complex fiber networks. Every site brings new challenges, new systems, and new chances to elevate your skill set. Shift times are typically first shift, though flexibility is a plus—especially for occasional travel projects that come with premium opportunities. You’ll be expected to: Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber cabling Test copper and fiber using Fluke or equivalent certifiers Terminate jacks using RJ45 and punch-down methods Install everything from racks and patch panels to ladder trays, sleeves, and firestop solutions Interpret and work from blueprints and project documentation Lead and motivate a team of 4-5 technicians with clarity and confidence This is not a stepping stone. It’s a launchpad.
